Is Your Business Idea Feasible?
Arkansas Small Business Development Center Business Blueprints

A great, FREE 60 page tool to evaluate the ability of your invention to make money. Thats what it all comes down to. Your invention has to be profitable to make it in the marketplace. Even if you plan on licensing your invention, we strongly suggest you follow this process from the standpoint of a potential licensee so you can see the financial picture from their side of the fence. If its not a money maker, it will not be a success in the marketplace.

Although this study was done primarily to assist those considering forming small business to pursue existing types of business, it translates very well to inventors evaluating the financial feasibility of their invention, as well as assisting inventors in estimating their own business skills and forcing them to put things down on paper.

Its a great prelude to a business plan. Use this tool. You'll be glad you did!

Patent it Yourself and The Inventor's Notebook are both great books for inventors. I have been using a copy of Patent it Yourself since 1991 and referred to it hundreds of times over the years. Its an easy read and does a wonderful job of teaching your the ins and outs of the patent system. Even if you dont plan on writing your own patent, it will help you get a much more effective patent from a licensed patent practicioner by helping you be better informed and more prepared. You may also have more insights into your own highly specialized invention than your professional help and guide them to certain things that specifically need to be covered. These are the two "must haves" for Independent Inventors. Get yours today from Amazon!
