After their great success with the Tamagotchi, Bandai went to work on several more pets. These new pets began to show up in the press in August of 1997. One of these new pets was the DigiMon linkable fighter pet. Others are described below.

Many US Children were puzzled, confused, or disraught at the prospect of their Tamagotchi dying so here comes a pet that lives forever. We now have an Angelgotchi Page.
