  • Tamagotchi Lays Golden Eggs for Bandai Bandai reports sales of 20 million units of the new Tamagotchi today. A milestone achieved in only two years. 11.8 million of those were sold outside of Japan. Launched in March 2004, the first 10 million were sold in 17 months, and the second in just 9 more months. Yesterday a partnership was announced with Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo to produce Tamagotchi branded children's clothing. GameSpot 12 April 2006.

  • Tamagotchis Seek Second Wave of Virtual Pet Owners Khaleej Times Online (U.A.E.) reports two years after its debut, the second tamagotchi series topped sales of 20 million units worldwide this month. The story follows two young children riding a train to Tokyo so their Tamagotchi can interact with a large one on tour.

  • Tamagotchi Game Now Available On Mobiles. Walt Disney News. 22 Feb 2006. Have you found all five Tamagotchi Connection secret codes?

To assist you in finding all of them, Bandai America is providing some tips to you. The first code was released in-pack: read the instructions on how to play games, shop and connect with your friends while searching for a secret code! The second code can be found online at Tamagotchi.com, the official Web site. There, you can create "More Friends, More Fun" by connecting with other Tamagotchi fans, download wallpapers and screensavers, and send e-cards! Look for the third code in Toy Wishes holiday magazine, which will lead you back to our Web site. Good hunting...it's hidden! The fourth code is on Neopets.com. And the very last code will soon disappear from a streaming video about Tamagotchi on TurboNick.com.
