Virtual Pet Store
This page is somewhat of a Graveyard of dead Virtual Pet Companies and Virtual Pet Products. About mid 2010 it appeared like
many of the older online virtual pets that had been hanging on with minimal support or updates, are now collapsing under pressure
from the newer Virtual World concepts that allow direct interaction with others and the use of mobile platforms (cell phones).
Then in the second half of 2012 there was another wave of the remaining old sites dying off.
This list of virtual pets is for historical reference purposes, they are no longer available. URLs can sometimes be used to find historial info on the Internet Archive. The URLs and data are just being stored here for reference.

Petz from PF Magic was one of the greatest CD Rom games in the early days of virtual pets. The company sold a few times,
and some of their games (Dogz, Catz, Babyz, Oddballz) went online. Petz, home of Dogz and Catz was previously at petz.com
(petz.com was just an achive of their 1995 to 1998 for a while, but now appears rejuvenatated (Aug 2004), then gone by March 2005).
Now, July 2010, it just forwards to ubiworld.com a virtual world. Petz was last at at http://petz.ubi.com and gone 24 July 2010.
